1. Information Collected

We collect and store only what is necessary to provide our service:

• Authentication: Your email address and basic Google profile information via Firebase Auth.
• Preferences: Your postcode and kids' age groups (if set) to personalize the deals you see.
• When you contact us or use Help Improve FamilySave, we store your message, supplied page/source URLs and any optional name or email address so we can review the submission and contact you about it. Access is restricted to authorised administrators. Submissions do not subscribe you to newsletters or marketing. We retain submissions only as long as needed to review and follow up on them; you can request access or deletion by emailing [email protected]. For spam prevention, we temporarily store a daily hashed network identifier and request count, without storing your IP address in your submission.

2. Use of Third Parties

To provide a high-quality, secure service, we use the following vetted partners:

• Google Firebase (Authentication & Database): Secure infrastructure.
• Gemini 1.5 Pro (AI Search): Your search queries are processed to provide deal summaries. No personal identity data is shared with the AI.

3. Data Integrity & Your Rights

You have the right to access and delete your data at any time. Simply use the 'Sign Out' button in your Profile and email the team if you wish for your account profile and saved history to be permanently deleted.
